Buist Moore Smythe McGee P.A. offers an excellent and rewarding summer program for qualified first and second year law students. The structure is informal, with week to week assignments to attorneys in the firm but without narrow departmental assignments. Clerks with strong interests in a particular area of law can structure their summer accordingly, whereas those who have yet to select their preferred practice area can receive a broad exposure to the firm's different specialties. Attendance at hearings, trials, depositions and business closings is encouraged.
Office and computer space is usually available during the summer; otherwise summer clerks make themselves at home in our spacious law library.
